Between attempting to brew good beer, spending time with his wife and walking the dog, Micheal drinks good beer and, at times, gets to write about it. Micheal is in his mid-twenties and lives in Atlanta, Georgia. "Between time at the local pub and exploring new breweries, my pastimes are a good book, a black cup of coffee, and those I love."

Last Battle Cry at Wicked Weed Funkatorium

With a recent degree in a writing-intensive Master's, I love using my skills to enhance my passion. My passion: beer; my skills: drinking good beer. I am a newlywed to my wonderful wife Ana and a newly-pup-owner to my German Shorthaired Pointer, Whiskey.

My favorite style of beer ranges from Pilsners, to Saisons, to IPAs, to Stouts, to Mixed-Fermentation Sours. However, if I were to narrow it down--which is like choosing a child you love the most (I guess...I don't have any kids)--I love a good Table Beer (Petite Saison; or Grissette).

There is nothing like sipping a dry, light refreshing beer, which showcases the powerful flavor of house yeast--throw Brettanomyces in the mix and I am a happy camper. Whether it is brew day or time at home, you will find a beer in the fridge and a glass in my hand.
