Cool little brewery off the W&OD trail with bike rack parking. Most recently went here for a shrimp broil event co-hosted by Ford's Fish Shack. The beer selection has something for everyone and it also doesn't hurt that it's pretty darn tasty too.
A relaxed place with lots of room. A dozen or so beers to choose from. They always seem to be out of the seasonal ones they make. To be honest I think the beer is just okay. A really great place to hang out with lots of friends.
Travel for work and visit breweries all over the country, Portland, NY, Alabama, etc. Been to a lot of great spots and this is one of them! Exceptionally flavorful and balanced brews, friendly staff, really cool place. When I visited there was a food truck out front serving up phenomenonal digs, people playing corn hole in the brewery, and a great adult crowd just enjoying some after work libations. When the crowd died down I slipped out back for a cigar and had a couple Black Ox stouts. Met some friendly people and just had a great end to a long day. Next time in the area I will return. Thanks Black Ox for a great evening and thanks for keeping the brews coming!
Three words. Jalapeño pale ale. This place is awesome. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and the place has a fantastic, unpretentious vibe. Plus the beers are pretty darn good. When I was there they had a delicious german food truck and the game playing on the big screen. Definitely worth the visit if you're in the area and more affordable than some of the other near by breweries.
