Beer Review

Review Author: Virginia Periss

This fancy oak aged imperial IPA is a special blend of an English-Style ale and an imperial IPA. This beer does an incredible job making a complex and robust beer that will leave you playing the game… what's that taste in my mouth?!?!

She pours a beautiful amber color with a slight red hue with a decent amount of head. There's a nice amount of carbonation and some cloudiness. The nose is absolutely amazing – there are hints of cherry and oak mixed with a fresh hop kick. You also get hints of lemon, grapefruit, peach, and mango smells. This beer is truly an experience – it's just absolutely bursting with flavor. It's like two dueling banjos going at it – on one side, you have bitter fruity hop playing and on the other, deep oak tune. There is a subtle taste of cherry and honey sweetness mixed with a whiskey kick and a hint of spice. I recommend to those that are really into great beers because this one is not for the faint of heart.
